Jérôme Salle

Jérôme Salle (born 1967 ) is a French film director and screenwriter.

Life

Jérôme Salle worked as a press photographer and commercial director. In 2000 he turned to Le jour de grâce his first short film.

His feature film debut was in 2005 with Anthony Zimmer. The thriller with Sophie Marceau and Yvan Attal in the lead roles was nominated for a César for Best debut. 2010 turned Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck under the title The Tourist, a remake of the film.

In the following years Salle resigned as director of comic book movies and Largo Winch Largo Winch II - The Burma Conspiracy in appearance.

In 2013 thriller Zulu was selected as the closing film of the 66th Cannes Film Festival. Filmed in South Africa film based on a novel by Caryl Férey.
