Jerry Hsu

Jerry Hsu ( born December 17, 1981 in San Jose ( California)) is a professional skateboarder. He stands at seven different companies under contract.

Jerry Hsu began in 1992 with the skating. He does not like to skate competitions, but rather makes videos. He likes to use little things like curbs and parking restrictions for his tricks.

He is one of the few Asian Americans in professional Kate snowboarding and has been nicknamed the Asian Elvis.

He has made a name for itself with photography. In 2007, he had several exhibitions. His photographs also appeared in the Vice Photo Book, an anthology, published by Vice magazine.

He belongs to the skaters, goofy ride the, ie, that his right foot is the front Führfuß on the skateboard. He is known for his good switch and Nollieskills.

Hsu is a member of the San Jose Tilt Mode Army crew, a group of skateboarders that makes skateboard videos. Although they also have a sponsor, but still make a point to show the sport as a social event. He appeared in videos such as Bag of Suck, The Storm (1999) and Subject to Change with. He won an award from the Transworld Skateboarding magazine for Best Video Part in Bag of Suck. A playable character in the console game Skate bears his name.
