Jerusalem (Königsberg)

Jerusalem was a good and village on the left bank of the left Pregelarms (Age Pregel ) east of Königsberg ( Prussia).

History

The village was founded and named by the Teutonic Knights. The Elbląg Commander Heinrich Reuss von Plauen was posing there in the 15th century, a semicircular, of a moated hill.

1927 water plant was built at Jerusalem on Good Pregel. Good village and were incorporated in 1928 to Königsberg.

The Good and the former village are not obtained as a result of the Second World War. The former belongs to the local situation today Kaliningrad district Moskowskoje. The area once good between the Pregelufer and the southeast arterial road of the city, in the direction Prawdinsk ( Friedland ) and Polish border leading A196, there are some prefabricated and built from the 1990s suburban villas.
