Jerzy Gorzelik

Jerzy Gorzelik ( born October 25, 1971 in Zabrze ) is a Polish art historian and regional politicians, Chairman of the Movement for the Autonomy of Silesia.

At the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, he studied art history. As a student he was in Solidarity Walcząca ( Fighting Solidarity), an extreme part of Solidarność, works. In 1999 he received a PhD degree at the University of Breslau. He teaches at the University of Silesia in Katowice, where he works as an adjunct. In regional and scientific press, he published articles in the field of art history.

In the Movement for the Autonomy of Silesia, he was press officer and head of the regional circuit in Katowice. Since 2003 he has been Chairman of the movement.
