Jesús Gámez (2010)

Jesús Gámez Duarte ( born April 10, 1985 in Fuengirola ) is a Spanish football player. The right-back spent his entire professional career with FC Málaga and has played more than 220 league games for the club.

Career

Gámez grew up in Fuengirola on in the province of Málaga and began at the local club UD Fuengirola playing football. In 2000 he moved to the youth department of the 27 km distant Málaga. After four years in young athletes he came in 2004 to the first missions in the second team, before he gave his league debut in the Liga Primera in November 2005. In the summer of the same year he took the U-23 national team of his native country participates in the Mediterranean Games and won the gold medal. In that very season Gámez rose with Málaga in the Segunda División, managed, however - he had already established themselves as key players - two years later the revival.

In all subsequent games, he completed not less than 25 league games and took over in the summer of 2011 for a short time the captain's armband. In May 2012, he extended his contract until the end of the 2015 season / 16th
