Jesús Ramírez

José de Jesús Ramírez Ruvalcaba (* April 21, 1957 in Mexico City), also known by the nickname Chucho, is a Mexican football coach and former player, who acted in the midfield.

Life

Player

Jesús Ramírez started his professional career in the mid 1970s with his hometown club Club Universidad Nacional, with whom he won the Mexican soccer championship in the 1976/77 season. After a one year stint at Puebla FC ( 1980/81 ), he returned to the Pumas back, but she left a year later and moved to city rivals Cruz Azul, for which he also only one season (1982 /83) was employed. He then moved for four years in the neighboring Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, where he stood until 1987 when CD Coyotes Neza under contract, before he returned to the capital and played the next three years for the club Atlante.

His last position as a player in the Mexican Primera División he spent in the 1991/92 season in the service of Querétaro Fútbol Club.

Coach

In 2000, " Chucho " Ramirez worked as a head coach for his Exverein Atlante.

Between 2005 and 2008, he initially managed the youth teams of the Mexican U -17 and U-20 national team before he was in charge from April to June 2008, the Mexican national team in the following matches:

Last Ramírez was between 2009 and 2010 as head coach of Club América in use.

His greatest success as a coach was winning the U-17 World Cup 2005.
