JETCO

JETCO (Chinese银 通) is with nearly 1,600 ATMs, the largest cash withdrawal card in Hong Kong and Macao. The full name of the network is Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (Chinese银联 通宝 有限公司).

The JETCO system was established in 1982 by the Bank of China (Hong Kong), in collaboration with the Bank of East Asia, the Chekiang First Bank, Shanghai Commercial Bank and Wing Lung Bank, was established. Today work outside HSBC and Hang Seng Bank, all banks in Hong Kong with this system.

The JETCO network is connected directly to the network of UnionPay in mainland China. Thus, it could be lifted at UnionPay ATMs of the renminbi until 1 January 2006 in China. UnionPay customers could also lift the Hong Kong dollar at JETCO machines. This service has been canceled because the two companies have agreed to anything.
