Jett Williams

Jett Williams ( born January 6, 1953 in Montgomery, Alabama) is an American country music singer.

She is the illegitimate daughter of Hank Williams. Her mother is Bobbie Jett. The mother of Hank Williams had adopted her shortly after the death of her son. She then lived only two months, so Jett was re-released for adoption.

It was only in the 80s she realized who her father was; after years of litigation their identity was recognized.

Jett Williams has since recorded several albums as a singer, some with members of the Drifting Cowboys, the band of her father.
