Jevremovac

The Botanical Garden Jevremovac in Belgrade is the most important botanical gardens in Serbia and part of the Botanical Institute of the University of Belgrade, founded in 1874 by Josif Pančić. 1889 began with the urban implementation.

The Botanical Garden Jevremovac located in the southeast of the municipality of Stari Grad (Old Town ) on the Takovska ulica. On five hectares are found above all an expansive arboretum and a greenhouse from the 19th century. Plant

The main entrance to the Botanical Gardens is on the corner of Takovska and Dalmatian. Right behind the entrance there is a statue of Josef Pančić.
