Jewish Historical Institute

The Jewish Historical Institute ( of Polish: Instytut Żydowski Historyczny ) in Warsaw is home to one of the most important collections on Jewish history in Poland, including the Ringelblum Archive ( Oneg Shabbat ) and is an important research facility on the subject of Jews in Poland. There are also two permanent exhibition in the Institute on the topics of Jewish life in Poland and its destruction in the Holocaust.

The building which houses the Jewish Historical Institute is located, is the former Judaic main library was completed in 1936. Opposite was the Great Synagogue (Warsaw).
