Ji Pengfei

Ji Pengfei (姬 鹏飞/姬 鹏飞, Ji Pengfei, born February 2, 1910 in Linyi ( Yuncheng ), Shanxi Province; † 10 February 2000) was a politician in the People's Republic of China and a member of the Communist Party of China. From 1972 to 1974 he held the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

After high school, he attended an academy for military doctors. After 1939 he became increasingly entrusted with political tasks and, prior to his appointment as foreign minister heads of diplomatic missions in the GDR as well as the first Chinese ambassador.

In 1979 he became director of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
