Jiang Jianqing

Jiang Jianqing, (Chinese:姜建清; pinyin: Jiang Jianqing, born February 1953) is a Chinese bank manager and since 2005 Chairman of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ( ICBC ), the largest bank in the world.

Jiang Jianqing began his career in 1984 at the ICBC and was appointed in February 2000, becoming its President. Previously, Jiang held various positions including Vice President of ICBC Shanghai and president of the Shanghai Urban Cooperation Commercial Bank, today the Bank of Shanghai.

Currently, he is also the Chairman of the Board of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China ( Asia) Limited, a member of the Monetary Commission of the People's Republic of China, Chairman of the China Banking Association, vice chairman of the Society for Finance and Banking in China and teachers of doctoral Jiaotong University Shanghai. He graduated from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Jiao Tong University and received a master's degree in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. in Management of this University.
