Jillian Camarena-Williams

Jillian Camarena -Williams ( Mary Jillian "Jill" Camarena -Williams, born March 2, 1982 in Woodland ) is an American shot putter.

At the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in 2006, she was seventh. The following year, she finished fourth in the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, but resigned at the World Championships in Osaka from qualifying.

A twelfth place finish at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing was followed by another Vorrundenaus at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.

In 2010 she finished sixth at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and the Fifth Athletics Continental Cup in Split. At the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, she won bronze.

From 2005 to 2011 she was seven consecutive U.S. Indoor champion. Outdoors they have been submitted twice U.S. champion (2006, 2010) and three U.S. Vice Champion ( 2007, 2009, 2011).

Jillian Camarena -Williams is 1,78 m tall and weighs 113 kg. She is coached by Craig Carter and starts for the New York Athletic Club. Until 2004 she studied at Stanford University. Another study at Brigham Young University, she interrupted in 2006 to become a professional athlete. On September 5, 2009, she married Dustin Williams.
