Jim Bridenstine

James Frederick "Jim" Bridenstine ( born May 15, 1975 in Ann Arbor, Michigan) is an American politician. Since 2013 he represents the State of Oklahoma in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Jim Bridenstine attended Jenks High School in Tulsa and then studied until 1998 at Rice University in Houston. Between 1998 and 2007 he served in the U.S. Navy, whose reserve it belongs to today. He then continued his education until 2009 continued with studies at Cornell University in Ithaca. In the meantime, he was executive director of the Tulsa Air & Space Museum & Planetarium. Politically, he was a member of the Republican Party.

In the congressional elections of 2012 was Bridenstine in the first electoral district of Oklahoma with 63:32 percent of the vote to Democrat John Olson in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he succeeded John A. Sullivan took on January 3, 2013, he had hit in his party's primary.

Jim Bridenstine is married and has two children. Private family lives in Tulsa.
