Jim Gillette

Jim Gillette ( born 1968 as James Gillette ) was originally the lead singer of the glam rock band Tuff. Even before Tuff got a record deal, Jim got out and was replaced by Stevie Rachelle. According to Jim's remarks was his song " too good to professional" been for tuff.

Jim Gillette produced a video lesson for rock and metal singer, which ( among other things, the publisher of Doug Marks ) sold over 100,000 copies. In this video, Jim applied for his first own production " Jim Gilette 's Loud & Proud", a music cassette on which participated even his later companion Michael Angelo Batio on guitar.

Since Jim Gillette as a singer and guitarist Michael Angelo as were very virtuosic and almost extreme, they decided to form a band, the "way over the top" and was breaking all musical- Olympic records should, it would have given for that.

Nitro bribed by extremely high ( polyphonic ) vocals, extremely fast guitar solos and wild outfits with the well currently the most auftoupierten hair. On the first album " O.F.R. " also had a drummer Bobby rock ( Nelson, Vinnie Vincent Invasion ... ) as guest musician. The second album " H.W.D.W.S. " fell much more pop out (see Poison, Tuff, etc. ), which had inflicted the record company, according to Jim Gillette. Overall, nitro rumored to have sold 100000-250000 albums.

1994 married Jim Gillette, the rock singer and guitarist Lita Ford

Beginning of the new millennium produced Jim with some friends the project " Organ Donor ", which this time was outstanding with another extreme, namely, by very deep, rather nasty acting singing and extremely hard, down tuned guitars and some industrial bonds. The CD was sold only in self-distribution, were correspondingly low sales.

Meanwhile, Jim Gillette has largely separated from his hair, lives with Lita Ford and his son on an island in the Caribbean and is dedicated to his second hobby, bodybuilding and martial arts. Jim, who had previously never lost for a fight (often alone against three winners ) (as of 2004 interview ) would now be Steel Cage wrestler.
