Jim O'Rourke (musician)

Jim O'Rourke ( born January 18, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is an American experimental musician, record producer, film composer and short film director.

Work

O'Rourke's work is among others influenced by jazz music, classical music, noise, drone, and guitar rock music and - with the exception of classical music - affect his own publications virtually any of these genres.

In addition to its generally much more experimental solo work was and he is also active in various bands and side projects.
