Jim Walsh (politician)

Jim Walsh is an Irish politician ( Fianna Fáil ) and Seanad Éireann in 1997 Senator.

Walsh attended the Christian Brothers School in New Ross. From 1979 to 2003 he was a member of the Wexford County Council and served in this period from 1992 to 1993 he was its chairman.

In 1997, Walsh was first elected for Fianna Fáil Seanad Éireann in the. In the years 2002 and 2007 was his re-election. In July 2010, he met with John Hanafin and Labhrás Ó Murchu in protest against the Civil Partnership Bill the Government of the Fianna Fáil from.
