Jimmy DeGrasso

Jimmy DeGrasso ( born March 16, 1963 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) is an American metal drummer. He plays in the band F5 and Alice Cooper.

Biography

DeGrasso closed 1981 Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, from and immediately devoted himself playing the drums. He played a short time in 1986 when the band Mama's Boys. 1987-1990 he held the post drummer with the band Y & T, where he replaced Leonard Haze. 1992, he joined Suicidal Tendencies and denied the trip to the album The Art of Rebellion. In 1995, after the preliminary resolution of Suicidal Tendencies, he played for Dave Mustaine ( Megadeth ) and Lee Vings ( Fear ) Project MD.45 and Alice Cooper, which he can also be seen in the movie Wayne 's World. For Cooper, he was also active in the next few tours to 1997 and played the album Fistful of Alice with a. 1998 then brought him Mustaine of Megadeth. He played on the tour to Cryptic Writings, five days after Mustaine had hired him. DeGrasso then played the albums Risk and The World Needs a Hero with a and is also seen on the Megadeth DVD Rude Awakening.

Following the temporary resolution of Megadeth DeGrasso 2002 joined the Modern Drummer Festival and played on another drummer festivals in the UK and Australia. He played for tours and Stone Sour guitarist Ronnie Montrose and is active as a session musician. Since 2007 he has been the drummer for David Ellefsons ( Megadeth ) band F5, plays in a band called Hail and jumped in 2008 for Eric Singer, who was busy with Kiss, Alice Cooper again in a. Since 2009 he is member of the band with Cooper.

DeGrasso played in his career, also with Lita Ford, Ozzy Osbourne, White Lion, Talas and David Lee Roth. He lives in San Jose, where he also operates a drum shop.
