JinbÅchÅ, Tokyo
Jimbo -chō (Jap.神 保 町) is a district in Tokyo's Chiyoda district town in Japan. It is especially known for the many bookshops and called therefore "Book Town" (本 の 街Hon no Machi ).
The center Jimbo - Cho is at the intersection of Yasukuni - dori and the Hakusan - dori on JIMBOCHO station ( Tōkyō Metro Ginza Line, Toei Mita Line and Toei Shinjuku Line). Along the Yasukuni - dori many bookstores are lined up selling especially older books and antiques. Near Jimbo -chō there are several universities, such as the Nihon University, Senshu University, Meiji University, Hosei University and the Yasukuni Shrine.
