Jiřà Bartoška
Jiří Bartoška ( born March 24, 1947 in Decin ) is a Czech actor.
Life
Bartoška spent his youth in Pardubice, followed by studies at the Janáček Academy in Brno. In 1972 he played in the experimental theater Divadlo na provázku. From 1973 to 1976 followed by appearances at the Schauspielhaus in Ústí nad Labem and Prague's theaters. In 1975 he joined the first time in cinema and television films and series, which helped him to a high popularity. In 1991 he left the theater Divadlo Na zábradlí, in which he appeared in 1978, and moved to 1994 to Divadlo bez zábradlí, directed by his friend Karel Heřmánek. Since 1994 he has been President of the International Film Festival Karlovy Vary.
