Jiří Lábus

Jiří Lábus ( born January 26, 1950 in Prague) is a Czech actor.

Life

The father of Jiří Lábus worked as an architect, his mother was a nurse at a theater. In this way he came often to the theater and it was already at a young age so fascinated that he finally took the profession of the actor.

In addition to theater engagements Jiří Lábus is mainly for his roles in Czech fairy tales and children's films ( Pan Tau; Visitors ) are known to a wide audience. Especially popular is his portrayal of devious " Hofzauberers second category" Rumburak in the hit series The Tales Bride ( CSSR 1979) and its sequels The Magic Raven Rumburak ( CSSR 1984) and The Return of the Fairy Tale Bride ( Czech Republic 1993).

In addition, Jiří Lábus works as a voice actor, lending his voice to The Simpsons Marge. He has also done work for synchronous MASH and Ice Age.

Jiří Lábus has a younger brother, Ladislav (* 1951), who, like his father was an architect.
