Jirka Letzin

Jirka Letzin ( born February 8, 1971 in Neubrandenburg ) is a former German back and float position.

His first major title he won in 1994 at the Sprint Swimming European Championships in 1994 on the short course in Stavanger, Norway in the 50m backstroke in 25.47 s In Swimming European Championships he reached in individual competitions several second places. He was a member of the German team at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and took over 400 m medley the 9th Place. In 2001 he was the World Cup overall champion over 100, 200 and 400 m medley.

His clubs were from 1977, the BSG structure Neubrandenburg, 1982 SC Empor Rostock, Rostock Warnow SG 1992 and 1997 SC DHfK Leipzig.
