Jirko Malchárek

Jirko Malchárek ( born June 26, 1966 in Jeseník, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak car racer and politician. He was on 4 October 2005 to July 4, 2006 Economy Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic.

Malchárek began his motorsport career in 1988 in touring car racing. From 1988 to 1990 he was active in the Czech Touring Car Championship. From 1991 to 1994 he went to the Czech Ford Fiesta Cup. Career in politics
