Jizan

Jizan (Arabic جازان, Ǧaizān DMG ) is a city in Saudi Arabia. It is located in the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula, facing the Red Sea. Jizan is the provincial capital of the province of Jizan and has about 130,000 inhabitants.

The city is, as is typical for Saudi Arabia, inhabited almost exclusively by Sunnis. The city has an important port, which is used among other things in order to beat the agricultural products of the region.
