Joan Baptiste

Joan Baptiste ( Jeanetta Joan Baptiste, born October 12, 1959 St. Vincent ) is a former British sprinter.

In 1983 she won the 200m silver at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Budapest. At the World Championships in Helsinki, it reached more than 200 m the semi-finals and took the British team silver in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

Another semi-final over 200 meters at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles followed the victory with the English team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay of the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1986.
