João Alves (bishop)

João Alves ( born December 13, 1925 in Torres Novas, Portugal, † June 28, 2013 in Coimbra ) was Bishop of Coimbra.

Life

João Alves received on 29 June 1951, the ordination.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on 12 December 1974 Titular Bishop of Scala and Auxiliary Bishop of Coimbra.
