Joao RodrÃguez (footballer)
Joao Leandro Rodriguez Gonzalez (born 12 or 19th May 1996) is a professional Colombian football player who plays as a striker for Chelsea.
Career
Joao Rudriguez started his junior career with Boca Juniors de Cali; he also took part in the U15 South American Championship 2011, where he noticed several scouts positive. As a result, he could switch to Chelsea.
Chelsea
Joao spent two months at the U16 Chelsea, where he was so convincing that he could sign a pre-contract, which will guarantee a professional contract in over five years and shall enter into force on his 17th birthday. But since he did not receive a work permit for England, he was given on loan for a year at Deportes Quindio.

The 2012/13 season he spent on loan at Deportes Quindio.
International career
Joao Rodriguez participated with the Colombian Under-17 national team at the 2013 South American Championship.
