João Henrique Pereira Villaret ( born May 10, 1913 in Lisbon, † January 21, 1961 ) was a Portuguese actor.

Career

After completion of the theater school of National Conservatory he joined the theater company of Amélia Rey Colaço and Robles Monteiro. After 1944, he joined the newly founded ensemble Os Comediantes de Lisboa, António Lopes Ribeiro and his brother Ribeirinho. He appeared in several feature films and numerous radio programs. With advent of television in Portugal, he appeared there as well. Here he fell on particularly with its literary readings and expressive poem recitations in the Sunday program of the RTP.
