Joaquín Suárez is a town in Uruguay.
Geography
It is located in the southwest of the department of Canelones in whose sector 16 Joaquín Suárez will lie between the only few kilometers or even just a few hundred yards distant cities Pando in the east, Fraccionamiento Sobre Ruta 74 to the north, Fraccionamiento Camino Maldonado and Barros Blancos in the south and Toledo in the west.
History
On October 2, 1929 Joaquín Suárez classified by the legal regulation of Ley 8482 as Pueblo.

Joaquín Suárez has the Liceo de Joaquín Suárez founded in 1975 through a secondary school ( Liceo ).
Traffic
Due to the city is centered in north-south direction, the Ruta 74, as well as a railway line in east-west course.
