Joël Damahou

Joel Damahou ( born January 28, 1987 in Koumassi, Ebrié Lagoon ) is an Ivorian footballer who currently plays for the Israeli first division outfit Bnei Sakhnin.

Career

Damahou played from 1999 in France, including at Paris FC. From 2008 to 2010 he played in the fourth division Regionalliga West for the second team of Borussia Mönchengladbach. He arrived there in two seasons on 45 missions and scored a goal. In July 2010 he moved to Kickers Offenbach in the 3rd League, for which he was standing right in the starting lineup in the first competitive match of the season 2010/11. On April 21, 2011 it was announced that the Hessian third division had terminated the midfielder due to a "gross breach of trust " with immediate effect. At the beginning of the season 2011/12 Damahou joined the Israeli first division team FC Bnei Sakhnin, a year later he moved to Maccabi Haifa.
