Joel Edwards (Evangelical Alliance)

Joel Edwards ( born 1951 in Jamaica ) is an English pastor and theologian.

Professional

Edwards was over ten years as head of the British Evangelical Alliance and is international director of Micah Challenge, dt Micah Initiative, a Christian organization dedicated to fighting global poverty and global justice. From 2004 to 2007 he was already the co-chair.

He is an ordained pastor of a large Afro-Caribbean Denomination and honorary canon in London at St. Paul's Cathedral. Edwards was, inter alia, with the honorary doctorate from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, excellent.

Because of his conviction, the Church could in all walks of life make a relevant contribution, it acts in a number of church, state and public bodies, including the Tony Blair Faith Foundation with.

Joel Edwards is married to Carol and father of two grown children. He lives in London.
