Johann Dihanich

Johann " Hans " Dihanich ( born October 24, 1958 in Eisenstadt ) is a retired Austrian football player and currently serves as a football coach, the second professional team of FK Austria Wien. As a player, the defender won five championships with the Austrian Vienna Austria and was in the squad of World Cup 1982. As a head coach he worked so far in the 2nd Division in his parent club ASKOE Klingenbachstrasse and the SC -ESV Parndorf 1919.

Career

National player and series champion in Vienna

Hans Dihanich began his career with his hometown club ASKOE Klingenbachstrasse, where he was recruited in 1978 from the Vienna Austria. The Violet the defender often came in the midfield and has already been used three times Austrian champion in his first three seasons. Under Charles Stotz, he also celebrated on 8 October 1980, a successful debut in the Austrian national team with a 3-1 over Hungary. Hans Dihanich also played in five of the remaining seven games of the successful World Cup qualifying in 1982. Though he participated also in the victorious World Cup test against Hungary and Czechoslovakia, he was at the finals in Spain only a substitute.

In Austria Hans Dihanich reached under Václav Halama Although in 1983 by reaching the European Cup semi-final against Real Madrid Panathinaikos, Galatasaray and FC Barcelona his greatest success at club level; Problems with the coach however, led to a one-year spell at the SSW Innsbruck. After his return to Austria Hans Dihanich celebrated in 1984 even a short-term comeback in the national team. Ultimately, he was able to win two more Austrian Championships before he moved in 1987 to the smaller GAK.

Career ending and coaches activities

After two years in the first division in Graz Hans Dihanich in 1989 there was still the SK VÖEST Linz in the 2nd Division, with him in 1991 with the first place in the Middle Play-Off promotion to the first division. However, the defenders remained in the second division and went to the FavAC. In 1992 he returned finally back to his original club ASKOE Klingenbachstrasse, where he began to work later as a player-coach. From 1994 to 1996, the blades Bacher here even played two years in the second division.

2000 it came to the return to the Bundesliga, first as an assistant coach at GAK and from 2001 to 2005 as an assistant coach of the Austria Vienna, where in 2003 the Austrian championship was won. After engagements at the SV Rohrbach and the ASKO Klingenbachstrasse Hans Dihanich trained 2007/ 08 SC -ESV Parndorf 1919 in the First Division, but could not prevent relegation. At the end of 2008, he was appointed coach of the Austria Vienna Amateurs, succeeding Thomas Janeschitz.
