Johann Ferdinand of Auersperg

Johann Ferdinand Prince of Auersperg ( born September 29, 1655 in Vienna, † August 6, 1705 in Münster, in Silesia ) was the second Prince von Auersperg and Duke of Silesia - Münsterberg since 1677.

His father Johann Weikhard of Auersperg (1615-1677) was the hereditary prince of the empire, and had 1653/54 by Emperor Ferdinand III. the Duchy of Münsterberg received as a fief of the crown of Bohemia in his capacity as king of Bohemia. Johann Ferdinand was married to Maria Anna Countess of Herbersteins (1660-1726) since 1678. Their daughter Maria Theresia von Auersperg (1686-1756) was married to Georg Siegmund Graf von Auersperg -Kirchberg. Johann Ferdinand was succeeded by his brother Franz Karl von Auersperg.
