Johannes Drost

Johannes Drost ( born June 22, 1880 in Rotterdam, † September 18, 1954 ) was a Dutch swimmer.

He participated in the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 at the age of 19 years. In the competition 's 200m Backstroke he finished, after a second place in the semi-final, in the final third place and was behind Ernst Hoppenberg from Germany and Austria from Karl Ruberl secure the bronze medal. Drost was for the Dutch swimming club Rotterdamse Zwemclub ( RZC ) active.
