John Arnold (bishop)

John Stanley Kenneth Arnold ( born June 12, 1953 in Sheffield, United Kingdom), Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster.

Life

John Arnold received on July 16, 1983 by the Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Basil Hume OSB, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On 6 December 2005, he was named Pope Benedict XVI. Titular Bishop of Lindisfarna and appointed him as Auxiliary Bishop in Westminster. The Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Cormac Murphy - O'Connor, donated to him on February 2, 2006, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Birmingham, Vincent Nichols, and the retired auxiliary bishop in Westminster, James Joseph O'Brien.
