John Clive

John Clive ( born January 6, 1933, London, † October 14, 2012 ) was a British actor and writer.

Life

Clive began his acting career in the mid 1960s with appearances in several television series. He was mostly seen in several small supporting roles.

For the produced 1968 Beatles film Yellow Submarine, he borrowed the original, the figure of John Lennon 's voice. Later, he played in four films from the Carry-on with ... film series. In the years 1973/1974 he played the lead role in the series Roberts Robots. His last film role was played Clive in 1998.

Since 1977, Clive was also active as an author. Together with J. D. Gilman, he wrote in this year KG200. The book became a bestseller. It was followed by other novels.

As a director, he staged in 1989 with The Yellow Wallpaper his only film.

Clive was married and has two children from his first marriage twice.
