John Conte (actor)
John Conte ( born September 15, 1915 in Palmer, Massachusetts, United States; † 4 September 2006 in Rancho Mirage, California ) was an American actor.
Conte, a trained dancer, his film career began in the thirties and was active until the mid-sixties. Usually he was the host of various TV shows. On the side he was announcer on the CBS radio show Silver Theatre. In the fifties Conte occurred mainly as a guest on television shows. He became famous in 1955 with the film The Man with the Golden Arm.
