John Cramer (priest)

John Anthony Cramer ( * 1793, † August 24, 1848 ) was a British scholars of antiquity. He has emerged for its collections of the Anecdota Graeca. Under this title he published in several volumes hitherto unknown Greek texts from the academic libraries in Paris and Oxford.

He held the Tractatus Coislinianus (Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Coislinianus 120) for the work of a commentator of Aristotle's theory of comedy.
