John Donahoe

John J. Donahoe ( born April 30, 1960) was on March 31, 2008 President and CEO of eBay and thus followed Meg Whitman, who stepped down after ten years of service from this post.

Training

Donahoe received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College and his MBA from the Stanford Business School.

Occupation

20 years Danohoe worked for the global consulting firm Bain & Company, where he advanced from Associate Consultant to the CEO, the board of 3000 employees in 30 branches.

EBay

Donahoe came to eBay in February 2005 and was responsible for the beginning of eBay Marketplaces and was thus responsible for eBay's global e- commerce business.
