John Eckstein

John Eckstein ( born November 25, 1735 in Poppenreuth, † June 27, 1817 in Havana ) was a German sculptor, painter and draftsman.

Life

Eckstein was the son of Woodcarver and Art Carpenter Conrad Eckstein and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg under Johann Justin Preissler.
