John Erick Dowdle
John Erick Dowdle (born 1973 in Saint Paul, Minnesota) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter.
Life
After graduating from Roman Catholic High School St. Thomas Academy Dowdle visited the University of Iowa. Later he moved to New York University, where he completed a training film. In Los Angeles Dowdle finally began with the film Full Moon Rising (1996 ) began his career as a director and screenwriter. Among his later films, horror movies Quarantine ( 2008) and Devil ( 2010).
Since the film The Dry Spell (2005) Dowdle works together with his brother Drew. They both live in Los Angeles. Dowdle is married to actress Stacy Chbosky since 2005.
