John Ericson

John Ericson ( born September 23, 1926 in Dusseldorf, actually Joseph Meibes ) is an American actor.

Life & Career

Joseph Meibes emigrated in 1931 with his family to Antwerp and 1934 in the United States. He attended the American Academy of Arts Dramtic and worked as a theater actor. He gave in 1950 next to Pier Angeli, Teresa his highly acclaimed film debut. There he impressed with a remarkable performance as the indecisive and live fearful ex -GI Philip Cass. This was followed by roles alongside stars like Spencer Tracy, Elizabeth Taylor and Barbara Stanwyck. Nevertheless Ericson was able to continue his cinema debut with none of his films more connection. Besides, Ericson was seen in numerous television series. Among other things, in Airwolf, Murder, She Wrote, General Hospital, Knight Rider, Gunsmoke, Bonanza and The A-Team.

The actor has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (1501 Vine Street ).

John Ericson is married to his second wife, since 1974, with Karen Ericson. He is the father of two children.
