John Freeman (Georgian poet)

John Frederick Freeman ( born January 29, 1880 † September 23, 1929 ) was an English poet and essayist. His friend Walter de la Mare advocated that Edward Marsh welcomed him in the years 1917, 1919 and 1922 in its collections Georgian Poetry 1916-1922. Freeman won the Hawthornden Prize in 1920 for his collection Poems 1909-1920.
