John Hahn

John Hahn ( born October 30, 1776 in New Hanover, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, † February 26, 1823 ) was an American politician. Between 1815 and 1817 he represented the State of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

John Hahn attended the public schools of his home. After a subsequent medical studies and his medical license, he began to practice in this profession. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic-Republican Party launched a political career.

In the congressional elections of 1814 Hahn was in the second electoral district of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Roger Davis on March 4, 1815. Until March 3, 1817, he was able to complete a term in Congress. After his time in the U.S. House of Representatives Hahn worked as a physician as well as in agriculture. He died on 26 February 1823 in his birthplace of New Hanover.
