John Hart (author)

John Hart (born 1965 in Durham, North Carolina) is an American mystery writer.

Life

The son of a French teacher and a doctor John Hart grew up on a large farm in North Carolina. He studied French literature at Davidson College. Later, he completed courses in finance and law, worked in a bank, then as a stockbroker and eventually opened his own law firm. These he gave up in order to realize his dream of becoming a writer. His first novel, The King of Lies (Eng. The King of Lies) was released in 2006 and was immediately a sensational success. In the category " Best First Novel " nominated him the same five major American crime writer associations and magazines for the Edgar Award, the Anthony Award, the Barry Award, the Macavity Award and the Gumshoe Award. His second and third novel for prestigious awards were nominated and awarded.

John Hart lives with his wife and two daughters in Rowan County, North Carolina.
