John Hughes (ice hockey, born 1988)

John Hughes ( born January 6, 1988 in Whitby, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently at the EC VSV in the Austrian Hockey League contract.

Career

John Hughes began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, where he was active from 2004 to 2008 for the Belleville Bulls and Brampton Battalion. In his final OHL season, he was doing the Jim Mahon Memorial Trophy as the top scorer among the right- wingers.
