John Humphrey Noyes

John Humphrey Noyes ( born September 3, 1811 in Brattleboro, Vermont, † April 13, 1886 in Niagara Falls, Ontario ) was an early socialist and founded in 1848 the Oneida community. In addition, he is considered a pioneer of free love and protagonist of Karezza.
