John I (bishop of Rochester)

John († June 20, 1137 ) was Bishop of Rochester from 1125 to his death.

John was the nephew of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Ralph d' Escures. In 1115 he was archdeacon in Canterbury.

In 1125 he was elected bishop of Rochester and was ordained on May 24 in Canterbury.
