John I, Burgrave of Nuremberg

John I of Nuremberg (c. 1279, † 1300 ) came out of the house and was Zollern 1297-1300 Burggraf of Nuremberg.

John I of Nuremberg was the son of Viscount Frederick III. Nuremberg and descended from his marriage to his second wife, Helene of Saxony ( † 1309). He was married in 1297 to Agnes of Hesse († 1335). Until his death he held the office of viscount together his younger brother Frederick IV of Nuremberg. When he died childless in 1300, this took the sole successor in Burggrafenamt.
