John I, Lord of Ligny
John I of Luxembourg (franz: Jean Ier de Luxembourg, † May 17, 1364 ) was a Lord of Ligny, Roussy Beauvoir and out of the house of Luxembourg. He was a son of the Walram II of Luxembourg - Ligny and the Guyotte of Lille.
Since about 1330 he was married to Alix de Dampierre († 1346 ), daughter and heiress of Guy of Dampierre- Richebourg. Their children were:

- Johann († 1360/61 ), lord of Roussy, clergyman
- Guido († August 22, 1371 ), Count of Ligny and Saint-Pol
- Johann († April 4, 1373 ), Bishop of Strasbourg from 1365 to 1369 and Archbishop of Mainz from 1371 to 1373
- Johanna († 1392 ) ∞ with Count Guido IV of Saint-Pol († 1360 )
